Depending on whether you believe hot foods cool you down, or you need to eat chilled things all day, choose between chef David Middleton’s soup du jour or house or mixed salads as your first course. Entrées include rustic offerings of poulet frites, a massive burger topped with horseradish aioli and cheddar cheese, or the vegetarian option of the portabello mushroom burger. For dessert, choose the classic vanilla crème brûlée or the lemon chiboust (meringue-stiffened pastry cream with a shortbread cookie).
