The fourth annual Food & Wine All-Star Weekend will return to Las Vegas on October 4-6 with events at Bellagio, Aria and MGM Grand. From Champagne brunches and six-course dinners to the humble-but-honest pizza and burger, the foodie fest hosted by Food & Wine magazine will bring together renowned sommeliers, mixologists, celebrity chefs and a hungry audience of epicurean enthusiasts for a weekend full of culinary delights.
Pairing not only food and beverages, but also learning and fun, the weekend will include an educational wine class on syrah by sommelier and Bellagio wine director Jason Smith, a cooking demo with Shibuya executive chef Heather Zheng at MGM Grand on how to make sushi 10 ways, a six-course epicurean experience with “Chef of the Century” Joël Robuchon and an after-hours pizza party with James Beard award-winning chef Shawn McClain.
One not-to-be-missed event is chef Michael Mina’s A Harvest Dinner, which will feature a menu using seasonal ingredients and intriguing flavor profiles paired with complementary wines. Debuting this year is the Burger Bash, presented poolside at MGM Grand. Chefs from seven of the resort’s restaurants will battle for the title of Burger Bash winner, as determined by Robuchon and Mina.
