The Cheat Sheet: Labor Day Weekend

It’s time for summer’s last hurrah! And Las Vegas has an unsurprisingly epic DJ lineup—plan accordingly.

FRI 30 Dive into the weekend at Marquee Dayclub with Chuckie and stick around for the clean trance sounds of Armin van Buuren at Marquee Nightclub. Tommy Trash and R3hab double-team Wet Republic while Hardwell hits Hakkasan. Major Lazer (a.k.a. Diplo) DJs Future Jungle at 1 Oak while complextro prodigy Porter Robinson spins Surrender and Aussie phenom Dirty South gets down at XS. Kendrick Lamar goes hard at the Palms’ Ditch Fridays. Swedish house solo-star Sebastian Ingrosso flies into Light.

SAT 31 Get wet with Russian wunderkind Zedd at Daylight. But stay nearby for when Dutch prodigy Nicky Romero headlines a special edition of Daylight Eclipse, or make your way across the hotel to the Skrillex set at Light. British superhuman Calvin Harris headlines Hakkasan while his fellow countryman Gareth Emery makes his way to Marquee. Arm yourself for Knife Party at Surrender, or head to XS for Steve Angello and rap it all up with Trinidad James at Tao.

SUN 1 Kaskade plays his Summer Lovin show at Marquee Dayclub, then follows it up with Tao’s six-hour Redux party. Afrojack gets Encore Beach Club jacked up before David Guetta pops into XS with his all-powerful house+hip-hop=pop formula. The quarter-million-per-show man Tiësto drops into Wet Republic before Harlem’s legendary Moby makes a rare DJ appearance at Hakkasan. Swedish up-and-comer-turned-full-fledged-star Alesso dips into Daylight before Nicky Romero steps back into Light.

MON 2 Now switch! David Guetta keeps it poppin’ at Encore Beach Club while Afrojack moves back around to XS. Marquee Nightclub features a double set by trance megastar Sander van Doorn with fellow Dutchmen W&W. And in case you missed him, Tiësto gets the electro house crackin’ at Hakkasan, closing out an incredible party weekend.
