In a city known for throwing the never-ending party, what happens when the party actually does end? Currently, only a handful of clubs have made it their business to keep the drinks flowing, the music bouncing and the booties shaking well past sunrise. And the latest club to make its foray into the afterhours-nightclub scene is Light Group’s 1 Oak in The Mirage.
The new Ended Up at 1 Oak Saturdays—inspired by lyrics from Jay-Z’s track “Beach Is Better”—starts September 15 at 3 a.m. with DJ Neva spinning. Late night guests will enter through the club’s exterior north entrance, and the club will remain open as long as the party people persist.
1 Oak afterhours joins The Act Nightclub in the Palazzo, which stays open 3-6 a.m. Saturdays for White Rabbit Afterhours; Artisan Afterhours Friday and Saturdays till 8 a.m.; Friday and Saturday afterhours till 8 a.m. at Body English in Hard Rock Hotel; and the temporary Drai’s Afterhours in Bally’s, 1-9 a.m. Thursday through Sunday.
With dayclubs and party pools opening not long after afterhours ends, the party really doesn’t have to stop.
