Where my dogs at? Marquee Cares hosts the second annual Barquee at Marquee Dayclub benefiting the Animal Foundation animal shelter and pet adoption center. There’s an open bar for the first hour, and doggy gift bags for the first 200 guests. (At the Cosmopolitan, 6 p.m., MarqueeLasVegas.com.) With Splash Dance over for the season, Surrender introduces Slide Thursdays. Start at Andrea’s for $7 drink and food specials then slide over to Surrender for a remix and mash-up night. Friday, Oct. 11

Las Vegas-based Panic! at the Disco causes a frenzy at the Boulevard Pool tonight. The multiplatinum band with Summerlin ties is celebrating the October 8 release of their fourth album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die. (See our Q&ACosmopolitanLasVegas.com.) Last week it was Depeche Mode at the Pearl. Tonight, The Joint welcomes seminal English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys with Jacques Lu Cont. This new-new wave thing is really striking a chord. After selling more than 50 million records, the British duo released its 12th studio album, Electric, in July. (In Hard Rock Hotel, 9 p.m., HardRockHotel.com.) If that all sounds too disco-y for your liking, descend to Body English for Bassment Fridays, featuring British Columbia-born Dubstep dynamo Datsik along with Mayhem, Antiserum and Sibantix. (In Hard Rock Hotel, 10:30 p.m.) Summer lovin’, had me a blast. With the summer residency at Marquee behind us, Kaskade hits XS for his first of four shows that include Halloween and New Year’s Eve. Saturday, Oct. 12

Armin van Buuren makes a late-season stop at Marquee Dayclub. The Dutch trance legend recently collaborated with Philips to introduce the portable M1X-DJ System for mixing parties on the go. It’s slated to hit shelves this November—sorry, Elmo, there’s a new toy in town. (At the Cosmopolitan, 10 a.m.) SoCal soul star Aloe Blacc is gaining scores of new fans thanks to his vocals on Avicii’s worldwide hit, “Wake Me Up!,” sure to be played loudly tonight at 1 Oak. (In The Mirage, 10:30 p.m., 1OakLasVegas.com.) The Calvin Harris dynasty continues at Hakkasan while Rev Run and Ruckus co-headline an awesomely alliterative affair in the Ling Ling Club. Don’t sleep on Ruckus, Lenny Kravitz’s up-and-coming cousin. (In MGM Grand, 10 p.m., HakkasanLV.com.) The DJ arms race escalates: Two miles north, XS deploys the biggest DJ of them all, Afrojack (seriously, the dude is 6-foot-10). Look for Afro’s new single, “The Spark.” (In Encore, 10 p.m.) Head to the New Tropicana for the first Miss Asian Las Vegas Pageant, a showcase of beauty, confidence and cultural appreciation. Sunday, Oct. 13

Dress up for GlowRun, Downtown’s 5K nighttime illuminated costumed fun-run from Insomniac and Vegas Seven’s parent company, WENDOH Media. Then stick around for the AfterGlow after-party with grub, drinks and sounds by Vice. (Bridger Ave. and Las Vegas Blvd., 7 p.m., GlowRun.com.) Thought Kaskade was done at Marquee? Not so fast! The first-ever two-time winner of the fan-voted DJ Times and Pioneer’s America’s Best DJ award celebrates with a ceremony at the nightclub. (In the Cosmopolitan, 10 p.m.) Multitalented and multiplatinum singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban performs at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The Grammy Award winner’s first four albums have all gone platinum, selling more than 25 million records in all. (In the MGM Grand, 7:30 p.m., TicketMaster.com.)

Monday, Oct. 14

Carnage brings his hip-hop/trap/house hybrid to Marquee. Last year, the L.A.-based DJ/producer had a hit trap remix of Hardwell’s “Spaceman,” and his career has been raging ever since. (In the Cosmopolitan, 10 p.m.)

Tuesday, Oct. 15

Andrea’s recently released its fall seasonal cocktail menu. Before hitting the clubs, explore it with the new Tuesday special: $23 Ramen Burger and beer-cocktail pairing. (In Encore, 6 p.m.) While we’re exploring dinner-and-drink specials, check out the new Social Hour at the Cosmopolitan. Blue Ribbon Bar & Grill, Comme Ça, D.O.C.G., Jaleo, Milos, Scarpetta and STK are all offering Monday-Thursday specials including $7 bites and cocktails.
