With all its perks, Las Vegas still lacks a few things the rest of the free world takes for granted (cough: IKEA). One thing we can stop whining about—at least for the holiday season—is Nevada’s Crate & Barrel drought. The chain’s pop-up incarnation, Tree Lot at Crate & Barrel, opens October 29 for a run at Town Square. The site will carry a mix of holiday specifics—from décor to snacks—and year-round design staples.
The natural question in the minds of the city’s long-deprived C&B fanatics is this: Will the pop-up lead to a more permanent presence? A rep from the store gave a general statement: “Crate & Barrel has a strong customer base in Las Vegas that shops online and from the catalog and has an interest in the market. While there are no current plans to open a location in the city, the brand is excited to be able to share the Crate & Barrel experience through this temporary pop-up shop.”
Well, Las Vegans can always dream.
