Tough Times for Would-Be Workers

The Alliance for a Just Society’s recently released 2013 Job Gap Report reveals some harsh truths for those seeking employment. Among the study’s findings:

$16.83 per hour: living wage in Nevada.

16: Number of job-seekers for each job paying a living wage.

$38.89 per hour: living wage for a family with one working adult, one stay-at-home
partner and two children.

54: Number of job-seekers for each family-level living-wage job opening.
