Siegfried, Roy and You
Decades ago, all you had to do to see Siegfried & Roy in action was buy a ticket to their show at The Mirage. Now the magical duo is much more elusive. But on March 1, you’ll find them as guests of honor at the Las Vegas Philharmonic’s Diamonds are Forever Gala at Aria, which will pay tribute to the duo with music from their production and more.

The Next Big ‘Thing’
It’s that time of year when the temperature is rising, the birds are chirping and the local bands are itching for a slot in the Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival. More than 30 hopefuls duke it out Feb. 28-March 2 during the XPOZ Battle of the Fans at Hard Rock Live. The top three crowd favorites will play the big shebang at Desert Breeze Park on March 29.

Martello Tells All
Casino history can be so hush-hush. Sometimes, you have to do some digging if you wanna know the dirt. That’s what entertainer Andy Martello did to unearth the story of the long-defunct El Rey Club in Searchlight. He wrote a book about owner Willie Martello (no relation) called King of Casinos, and he’ll be signing copies and spilling secrets at the Nevada State Museum on March 1.

Rock ‘N Roller Derby
Sure, Las Vegas doesn’t have a major league team, but let’s not forget the awesomeness of our Sin City Rollergirls. The four-team, ass-kicking league kicks off its ninth season on March 1 at the Riviera, where snacks and booze will be aplenty. Buy tickets online to save $5 off the door price.
