From Zero to 300: Family of Speed Demons Tears Up the Track

Think NASCAR is fast? Try NHRA drag racing, in which drivers can accelerate to over 300 mph in less than five seconds. Sisters Courtney and Brittany Force have followed in the smoking tracks of their father, 16-time Funny Car driving champion John Force, ditching their day jobs to compete in races that sometimes pit family member against family member. The trio visited the Las Vegas Motor Speedway March 28-30 for the 2014 Mello Yello Drag Racing series, and talked to Vegas Seven about making this adrenaline-fueled sport a family affair.

Drag racing will return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in October.
