Last week, Red Rock Resort announced a $35 million expansion, which includes importing two Chicago restaurants: the notorious Wieners Circle and Mercadito. But parent company Station Casinos apparently isn’t done yet. Red Rock sister property Green Valley Ranch will also get dose of the Second City this summer with its very own Mercadito, serving cuisine inspired by chef/owner Patricio Sandoval’s experiences growing up in Mexico. Unique to the Green Valley addition is Tippling Hall, the second location of Mercadito Hospitality’s newest beverage concept. While beverage consultants the Tippling Brothers—Tad Carducci and Paul Tanguay—will also provide the south-of-the-border cocktails for Mercadito, Tippling Hall will be another animal entirely, offering drinking rituals from around the world as well as their signature kegged cocktails. Tippling Hall chef and partner Guillermo Tellez will offer a comfort-food menu to pair with the bros’ global grog.
