Rose.Rabbit.Lie offers

Locals can catch “Vegas Nocturne” at Rose.Rabbit.Lie for free, Wednesdays-Sundays in May

East Coast-West Coast Art

Has our cover story piqued your interest in Tupac? You can see his likeness in stained glass (and Biggie’s too) as part of Dylan Mortimers’ Marquee Theology exhibit at Trifecta Gallery through May 23. The artist explores the intersection of pop culture, propaganda and religion. If you’ve never admired a prayer box resembling a telephone booth before, now’s your chance.

Onyx Goes Wilde

Oscar Wilde referred to his play The Importance of Being Earnest as “a trivial comedy for serious people.” Off-Strip Productions will stage the play at Onyx Theatre, May 23-24, 29-31 and June 5-7.

Admit it: You’ve been curious about Rose.Rabbit.Lie since you first tried to decipher its name. Now’s a good time to finally step inside the elusive social club as it offers complimentary local admission to the midnight canto of its in-house show, Vegas Nocturne, Wednesdays-Sundays in May. All you have to do is whisper “I want a midnight snack” to gain entry.

A Few of Your Favorite Things

Good music, good drinks and paper tablecloths to scribble on … you’ll find it all at The Beat during the Downtown Drink N Draw on May 27. Organizers provide the tools you need to unleash your inner artist while local bands, including LoveHateAway, serenade you.
