Eva Longoria’s SHe Shutters Again

Eva Longoria’s ever-shifting steakhouse/nightclub concept at Crystals, SHe, SHuttered suddenly on Saturday. Jonathan Fine, who owns PBR Rockbar at Planet Hollywood and Rockhouse at Palazzo, is said to have made an offer on the spot. If he gets it, he’ll open the spot as a new concept different from what’s already in his portfolio.

Staff were reportedly notified on Wednesday that Saturday would be the last day of operation, and were offered continued employment at other Landry’s-owned venues. Landry’s operates the Golden Nugget, the Claim Jumper chain, McCormick & Schmick’s, Mastro’s Ocean Club, Trevi at Caesars Palace, Morton’s the Steakhouse, the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, the Rainforest Cafe, Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse and the Chart House.

SHe opened in February 2013 after the July 2011 closure of her Beso steakhouse and Eve nightclub in the same spot, with Morton’s handling restaurant operations instead of Todd English. Originally SHe operated the upstairs as a club, but that quickly was abandoned, about two weeks after the opening. The complex lasted about a year and a half in its first incarnation.
