Paging the Past

Stephens Press sure knows how to make an exit. The book-publishing arm of Review-Journal parent Stephens Media called it quits last year, but it still had its most ambitious project in the pipeline. The fresh-off-the-press, lavishly illustrated Nevada: 150 Years in the Silver State enlists more than 70 writers to tell the state’s story from dozens of angles, from the travels of John C. Frémont to the rise of The Smith Center.
