Perpetual breakup machine Taylor Swift heads up this year’s iHeartRadio Festival when it returns to the MGM Grand September 19 and 20. And back to host is Ryan Seacrest, because iHeart is to concerts what Idol is to television.
Joining Swift in the celebration of all things ubiquitous in music: Coldplay, Usher, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Zac Brown Band, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Paramore, Iggy Azalea, Train, Eric Church, Lorde, Calvin Harris, Bastille, Steve Aoki and, in a nod to their farewell tour and the fact that they too once tore up the charts, Mötley Crüe.
The iHeartRadio Festival Village will feature Neon Trees, Kacey Musgraves, Childish Gambino, Magic!, The Pretty Reckless, Nico & Vinz, Lil Jon and … Azalea, doing double duty. They’re also hinting that Jessi J is going to swing by for a surprise “Bang Bang,” with Minaj and Grande already there. But why try to add even more excitement when you’ve already got Coldplay and Train? How much do you think we can handle, iHeartRadio?
