The rumors were true—come winter, Summerlin moms will be able to enjoy MTO Café’s red carrot juice at the restaurant’s second location at Downtown Summerlin. The new spot will maintain the retro-modern diner aesthetic, except that customers will order at a walk-up counter rather than be waited on. The Summerlin location will also offer dinner in addition to the spot’s breakfast, brunch and lunch menus; the particulars will be revealed closer to opening.
Meanwhile, MTO’s Downtown location will continue its normal hours for now, but beginning August 15 and 16, will stay open until 7 p.m. to serve three-course pre-show dinners for selected Smith Center shows, the first being Ghost, the Musical. The $40 dinner will include items such as Korean-style skirt steak and short rib shepard’s pie.
