Jacobson suffered traumatic brain injuries when he was struck by a car on December 23 of last year while walking home from the gym. Since April, he’s been undergoing rehabilitation in Denver and Omaha. But his family and friends are hopeful that he and his wife will be back in Las Vegas before the end of September and able to attend this dinner. Jacobson’s recovery has been remarkable. He is currently walking and dining out once again as his speech continues to improve. He and his family have repeatedly expressed their gratitude to the local community for their emotional and financial support.
