Soon to join the Bellagio fountains soundtrack is an exclusive medley by producer and DJ Tiësto. The fountain’s creators, WET, teamed up with the DJ to created a custom choreographed water spectacle that would complement the Dutch artist’s three-song compilation, which signals a departure from the property’s usual repertoire of romantic, patriotic or classical tunes.
Tiësto is himself a Las Vegas enthusiast, with frequent tour stops for his residency at Hakkasan and reported sightings around town even when he isn’t working. On August 25, he was spotted with EDM superstars DJ Snake and Erick Morillo in support of fellow DJ Carnage during his Marquee set. The tracks used for the fountain show hail from Tiësto’s most recent album, A Town Called Paradise, the title of which refers to the little-known census-designated township of Paradise, which contains the majority of today’s Las Vegas Strip.
The Tiësto-infused Bellagio fountain show debuts September 17.
