Nevada Ballet Theatre Offers A Great Mix

midsummer_nightsdream_nv_ballet_theaterFor its 43rd season debut, Nevada Ballet Theatre will offer a mix of great minds (and bodies). In no particular order of genius, there’s Shakespeare, classic American choreographer George Balanchine, Pacific Northwest Ballet principal dancer Lesley Rausch, members of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and 30 children from the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre. The Smith Center’s resident ballet company will perform Act I of A Midsummer Night’s Dream followed by Seasons, which will be danced to Antonio Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons.” Watch it at 7:30 p.m. September 20 and 2 p.m. September 21 ($29 and up).
