The crowd left lively and colorful at Las Vegas’ inaugural Life in Color festival, an EDM event where DJs jam while streams of neon paint blast their listeners.
Headliners Adventure Club performed top hits “Fade” and “Rise and Fall” as paint spattered the audience in time with the music. The Montreal-based duo switched to a few more relaxed hits such as “Wonder” and “Gold,” which allowed enough time for the crowd to wipe off the technicolor streaming down their eyes before they topped off their performance with a chilling remix of Flight Facilities’ “Crave You.”
The audience, whose shirts made up an abstract mosaic by the end of the show, walked out of the Cashman Center gratified. Although the festival debuted at Florida State University in 2006, it’s definitely moved past its college roots to the mainstream.
