Rock in Rio is set to make its U.S. debut on May 8-9 and 15-16 on the north end of the Strip across from SLS. In addition to the VIP dining options provided by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and his team, the festival has partnered with a nightclub—specifically Mandalay Bay’s Light—to provide a VIP seating experience for the festival’s high-rollers. Light has created two exclusive VIP areas for ideal main-stage viewing outfitted with tables, comfortable seating, small bite and cocktail options, and, of course, bottle service.
Other elevated festival features (besides headliners T. Swift and No Doubt, obviously) include a Ferris wheel, zipline and five more stages. Once the festival has concluded, the venue, the City of Rock, will be a permanent fixture on the Strip, with its themed avenues encouraging guests to celebrate the cultures of the U.S., U.K., and Rock in Rio’s origins in Brazil.
