Twenty-six new names were added to the EDC Las Vegas lineup, which already featured more than 200 DJs booked on eight stages for three nights of dusk-till-dawn madness.
As with the original lineup, the representation of various house subgenres remains consistent with the additions of deep house vibes from Light Year, Dutch house sounds from Blasterjaxx and tech house loops from Chus & Ceballos.
L.A.-based DJs Blaise James, Durante and Astronomar also made the cut. These guys are no strangers to the business end of the music industry, as all have worked behind-the-scenes with popular music labels. But as musicians, they have risen to fame within the past year, and they’ll get to show off their mixing expertise at the annual desert blowout.
A very notable addition—though this maybe not evident to the casual festival-goer—is Armin van Buuren and Benno de Goeij’s collaborative project, GAIA. The two teamed up more than just a year ago, yet just performed their first live show together at 2014’s Ultra Music Festival in Miami. This will be a special treat for Armin and Benno superfans, as the duo is notoriously difficult to see live as a pair.
