Remember Space Jam? The 1996 live-action/animated film features the classic team-up of Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny against a group of criminal aliens in a game of basketball. LeBron James is rumored to star in the sequel, but you can see the original at sundown June 18 as part of Town Square’s Movies in the Square series. MyTownSquareLasVegas.com.

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal in April, killing and injuring thousands. Help seven local bands and DJs—including the Quitters and Illicitor—raise money for relief efforts at 8 p.m. June 19 at Bunkhouse’s Nepal Benefit Show. One hundred percent of the $5 admission goes to Direct Relief Nepal and 100 percent of the performers are local, so show some support! BunkhouseDowntown.com.

On June 20, join fellow otakus at So Good Arcade for a night of cosplay, karaoke and Japanese arcade games in the Anime Arcade Night Party. A $20 entry fee gets you food (served by kawaii maids), unlimited arcade play and entry into karaoke and gaming contests. The fun begins at 6 p.m. AnimeTeaHost.com.

There’s always a reason to celebrate, right? You have until June 21 to check out Celebrations and Traditions at Springs Preserve. The exhibit features selected images by professional, amateur and youth photographers in their attempts to capture subjects that embody the nouns in real life. Treat yourself to these photographic delights! SpringsPreserve.org.
