Chicago Super MC Lupe Fiasco made a move that only a select few artists are brave enough to make. He performed songs from his latest effort, Tetsuo & Youth, from beginning to end. It was a bold call considering the large amount of fans who were there to hear the older hip-hop classics that made him one of the most respected MCs in the game. “Adoration of the Magi” and “Deliver” were highlights off Tetsuo & Youth, but Fiasco was smart enough to give the crowd what they came for. With a 30-minute closing and encore of his most loved songs, Lupe coasted through snippets of “Kick, Push,” “Superstar,” “Words I Never Said” and “The Show Goes On” much to the delight of the audience. ★★★★✩
