Mention Gordon Tronson to any hot-rod enthusiast and they’ll know his Double Trouble hot-rod, hand-built by the man in six months. Somehow, he managed to get two Ford V-8s to work in tandem and produce about 1,000 horsepower. A couple of years back, Tronson just finished a four-engine Harley-Davidson. Aside from Double Trouble, he is in the process of restoring his pride—a 1960 Cadillac. Tronson never has any physical plans or sketches in hand. It’s all in his head. Who knows what he will be building in the next couple of years.
