A Beer Festival at Your Fingertips

With so many craft beers on the market, it is impossible to try them all, but the automatic craft beer machine at Nacho Daddy (9560 W. Sahara, 702-462-2298, NachoDaddy.com) allows us to make a small dent in our to-taste list. Beer fans can sample up to eight different brews from the machine next to the bar at their own pace without having to be waited on or stand in line. Just load up a pre-paid card with at least $10, wave the card in front of a tap and the cost is deducted as a 1-ounce pour automatically dispenses. And you can get a fresh, frosty glass from the bar with each tasting.

The eight taps in the beer wall rotate as soon as a keg is emptied, which is about every other month, so there is always something new in the machine. Expect to find a variety of local brews from Banger to Bad Beat, as well as national brands such as Deschutes, Stone and more. The 1-ounce samples cost from 50 cents to $1 and you’re allowed as many samples as you want, but if you want to remember the fun experience, you might want to pace yourself.
