(The cream is whipped before the peanut butter is added to the mix.) Marrone then folds in some chocolate chunks and sprinkles on a few pretzels. But the knockout blow is a hearty dose of meringue. “As a guy who grew up in New England eating peanut butter and fluff sandwiches,” Santos says, “this sundae pays amazing homage to those days!” Fair enough.
