Chef Andre Rochat, along with his culinary partnership Stacked Hospitality, has had a busy couple of months. While Alizé has long been a stalwart of the Las Vegas fine dining scene at The Palms, we reported earlier this year that Rochat would be taking over the DW Bistro space on Fort Apache. Now comes word from Alizé executive chef Mark Purdy that Rochat has tapped Scott Sampson—who previously helmed the kitchens at Andre’s Downtown and at Scotty’s Kitchen—to lead the bistro-centric project from a gastronomic standpoint.
What’s more, Purdy also reveals that the group has also taken over the defunct Lucky Foo’s space in Henderson. We are told that all semblances of the prior tenant will be gone by early next year when they expect to open “an approachable steakhouse.” Look for Marty Lopez, most recently from 35 Steaks & Martinis in Hard Rock Hotel, to tend the grill and menu of French-themed accoutrements.
