With four extremely successful Las Vegas outlets to his credit, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s partnership with Caesars Entertainment seems to be a match made in heaven. Ramsay presently operates a pub in Caesars Palace, a burger joint in Planet Hollywood, a steakhouse in the Paris casino-resort and a just-opened fish and chips spot on the Linq Promenade. And while the Hell’s Kitchen star has placed a number of the show’s winners at the helm of these bustling kitchens, sources say Ramsay is ready to kick it up a notch with a fifth Sin City concept.
Word from several Fox Television showrunners who spoke on the condition of anonymity is that the boisterous Brit will soon take over the Strip-fronting Serendipity 3 space at Caesars Palace. Here, Ramsay is said to be installing one of his Hell’s Kitchen restaurants, which would no doubt be tied to an upcoming season of the show.
Serendipity 3 had been previously run by an estranged former business partner of Ramsay, Rowan Seibel, who is presently serving out a sentence for tax evasion.
There has been no comment yet from Caesars Palace representatives.
UPDATE: A representative of Caesars Entertainment responds, neither confirming the developing story but also not deny it, saying, “We are pleased with our partnership with Gordon Ramsay, and are always open to new restaurant possibilities with him and his team.”
