Jerry Goumroian, formerly of The Great Greek (food pictured), will partner with Nikos Georgousis to make another smash hit in the Greek food realm.

After departing The Cosmopolitan’s Estiatorio Milos in November, chef Nikos Georgousis will partner with restaurateur/chef and friend Jerry Goumroian, formerly of The Great Greek in Henderson, to open Meraki Greek Grill (4950 S. Rainbow, Suite 160, merakigreekgrill.com).

Goumroian says the duo will offer “fast-casual at the highest level, with the soul of a Greek restaurant.” Guests can expect menu offerings ranging from meats, such as lamb and chicken from the rotisserie and souvlaki sandwiches, as well as lighter fare including rice bowls and salads. “Meraki” means love and passion, which is what Georgousis and Goumroian will combine to provide quality food, service and atmosphere at affordable prices.  As for leaving the Strip for the ’burbs, Georgousis says, “At the end of the day, it’s nice to cook for the neighborhood.”
