Papaya King, New York’s reigning hot dog emporium since 1932, opened its first Las Vegas location at Harmon Square, across from the Hard Rock Hotel. The “tropical oasis in the concrete jungle” offers world-famous snappy franks, tropical drinks and more.
Recognized as a favorite among celebrities such as Anthony Bourdain, Julia Child and Martha Stewart, Papaya King was the first to put together the magical combination of papaya drinks and frankfurters.
Combining freshness, quality, flavor and fun, Papaya King invites guests to get treated like royalty and enjoy a taste of New York City at the Las Vegas location. The restaurant features a 1,558-square-foot space (nearly three times larger than the New York locations), complete with dine-in and takeout options. Guests are transported to the restaurant’s Big Apple–inspired environment with its eclectic tropical design and walk-up counter ordering system to offer a fast and casual feel.
The restaurant’s 100 percent all-beef franks come in eight classic combos and more than a dozen specialties. Highlights include the Classic (kraut, New York–style onions or relish); Homerun (kraut and NY onions); Pig N Da Blanket (bacon, sautéed peppers, sautéed onions and cheddar cheese sauce); Side on Top (chili, cheddar cheese sauce and curly fries); Upper East (pastrami, kraut and pickle chips) and much more.
Complementing Papaya King’s famous frankfurters is its world-renowned tropical drinks and smoothies. Tropical drinks include papaya, mango, coconut, banana and strawberry—all original recipes from 1932. Signature smoothies include the Banana Berry (banana and strawberry); Papaya Pride (papaya, pineapple and strawberry); and Pineapple Surprise (banana, kiwi and pineapple), to name a few.
