Featuring the world-famous BBQ tastes and varied interpretations of the South, Virgil’s Real Barbecue is now in Las Vegas at The Linq Promenade. The menu highlights styles from across the board, including Memphis pork ribs and chicken, Carolina pulled pork and Texas beef brisket.
With other locations in New York City and the Bahamas, Virgil’s Las Vegas’ 14,000-square-foot space can accommodate up to 300 guests and features three outdoor spaces and three private dining rooms.
Virgil’s meats are smoked at a low temperature over indirect heat for up to 10 hours, with a mix of hickory, oak and fruit woods to impart the most flavor and to keep the meat from drying out. To complement the main menu of BBQ specialties, Virgil’s also offers a generous selection of traditional sides such as hickory pit baked beans, coleslaw and cheese grits, with Southern-style desserts such as banana pudding and Key Lime and sweet potato pies finishing the deal.
Libations include 14 beers on tap, including the exclusive Virgil’s Ale from Magic Hat. (Virgil’s is the only place in Las Vegas serving Lone Star on tap.) Vegas-size offerings include the “Party in a Jar,” featuring seven varieties of cocktails served in one-gallon mason jars, and the option to have any beer on tap served in an oversize barrel.
Live entertainment in the main room and patio will add to the festive vibe. Local talent performing country, bluegrass and classic rock will play nightly from 9 p.m. to midnight, with special guest appearances from notable names.
