Based out of San Diego, Queen Bee Market is making its debut in Las Vegas March 10-11 at the Conference Center of Nevada. Providing shoppers with more than 70 merchants, the highlight is that the majority of what’s being sold is handcrafted. It’s no wonder sisters and co-owners Kellie Dooley and Allison Gharst bill the event as an “Etsy come to life.” The sisters select each vendor and emphasize a well-decorated booth, so don’t expect any swap meet vibes.
Catch local talent like Amber’s Umbrella, which specializes in repurposed furniture and home decor, Staysi Lee who’s bringing her vintage bridal attire, and Happy Glamper Gals in all its baubles and beads glory. Queen Bee Market will donate a portion of proceeds to The Shade Tree. If you’re not too much of a busy bee, head to the market to support the community and get your spring shopping in at the same time.
Conference Center of Nevada, 6590 Bermuda Rd. Friday, March 10, 4-9 p.m. and Saturday, March 11, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door and free for military and children under 12. TheQueenBeeMarket.com; @queenbeemarket.
