Ring of Honor storms back into Sam’s Town Live on March 10 and 11 with two nights of grappling that show off the best of the wrestling promotion.
On March 10, the company, which bills itself as providing “the best wrestling on the planet,” is holding its 15th anniversary show. Available on pay-per-view for those who can’t make it to Boulder Highway, the show’s main event will feature “Almighty” Christopher Daniels, who wrestled in the first main event of the first Ring of Honor card, squaring off against world champion Adam Cole. Should Daniels prevail, the “Ring General” will capture his first ROH world championship.
Other anticipated matches include a “Vegas Street Fight” for the ROH World Tag Team titles, with champions Matt and Jeff Hardy facing challengers the Young Bucks (brothers Matt and Nick Jackson) and Roppongi Vice (Beretta and Rocky Romero). The ROH Six-Man Tag Team title will be disputed between champions the Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan) and Dalton Castle and his Boys, who have to be seen to be believed. In addition, Bully Ray and the Briscoes (Jay and Mark) face off against War Machine (Hanson and Ray Rowe) and Davey Boy Smith Jr. Many other top ROH stars will see action as well.
The following night, ROH will be back at Sam’s Town to record several episodes of its weekly TV show, which is broadcast locally on KSNV. The TV tapings aren’t as cohesive as the pay-per-view show, but they do provide a lot of bang for the buck and give fans a chance to see a bit of the future.
