The Perfect Scoop (7377 S. Jones Blvd., 6446 N. Durango Dr., perfectscooplv.com), which offers a variety of sugary deliciousness (cotton candy–topped boba, anyone?), is known among the plant-based/lactose intolerant community for its vegan offerings. It serves up nine flavors of the good stuff—ranging from the traditional chocolate and vanilla to pistachio and white chocolate peanut butter—using vegan-friendly almond milk. The ice cream shop recently expanded and now has a home in Centennial Hills, across from the vegan fast-food drive-thru Vege-Way. Plant-based dinner and dessert? We’ll take a double helping.
