If you have a hankering for one of François Payard’s Croque Madames or his signature macarons, we suggest you head toward his patisserie and bistro now as word on the street is that the eatery will soon shutter. It is rumored that the closure will make way for a more fast-casual and to-go concept from Giada De Laurentiis in the not-so-distant future. Giada in The Cromwell, the television personality’s only restaurant, has been on the scene just shy of three years and has become one Las Vegas’ hottest tables and most profitable restaurants. While a spokeswoman did not directly confirm these rumors, she did smile and state, “We would be thrilled to have another project with Giada.” Story developing.
A Peek at Life Is Beautiful 2017
Gorillaz are coming to Las Vegas for the first time ever. 2016’s Grammy winner for best new artist, Chance the Rapper, will return. English rockers Muse will bring their dizzying live show to the streets of Downtown. And that’s just the top of an eclectic bill that features more than 70 acts, along with comedy, interactive art installations, a group art exhibit featuring the work of Mark Ryden, Tara McPherson and Shepard Fairey and much more. Last year saw more than 137,000 attendees trod the festival footprint. Who’s ready for more?
