One of the great advantages of living in Las Vegas is that all of the biggest acts come to us. We don’t have to leave town to see Train or Trevor Noah (they were at MGM Grand and The Mirage, respectively this past weekend), and on May 21, the Billboard Music Awards will come through with a ton of huge acts.
But you know what we miss out on? Convention parties. Movie stars and singers are always rolling through Vegas for side gigs, collecting dollars while they entertain corporate crowds. Unless you’re invited or have a friend that can hook you up, you’ll miss out.
Just like we missed out on seeing Gwen Stefani and “Fresh Eyes” singer Andy Grammer perform at Dell EMC World 2017’s Customer Appreciation Party inside The Venetian on May 10.

The “Hollaback Girl” rocked the crowd with a set that included hits “The Sweet Escape” and No Doubt’s iconic “Just a Girl.”

Grammer’s set featured “Blame It on the Stars” from his 2014 album Magazines or Novels.
Neither singer has any upcoming Vegas dates on their calendars, so we’re pretty much stuck hearing the Dell crowd tell us how cool it was.
Get Your Sex Tips Here
We’re not saying we need sex tips, but we’re open to hearing them, especially if they’re coming from Kendra Wilkinson and Jai Rodriguez. The stars of reality television’s The Girls Next Door and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy have been making the rounds on local television this week promoting their upcoming Paris Las Vegas show, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man.
The show premieres Saturday, May 27 in the Anthony Cools Showroom.
Male Models Heating Up the Strip
Let’s be honest, the Strip has seen better days. Try walking 100 yards in any direction and it’s nothing but costumed characters hitting you up for photos and porn slappers all over the place.
But leave it to male models to make Las Vegas Boulevard look good.
It’s for the best that we, the less attractive, were stuck inside the whole time.
