This gorgeous roll is packed with pineapple and avocado and topped with more avocado, coconut sauce and coconut flakes. The neighborhood joint serves traditional Japanese favorites such as ramen, udon and miso, and it offers an impressive vegan and vegetarian menu. Up until May, the spot was known as Miko’s and was run by husband-wife team Greg and Fumiko Yankovsky. There are new offerings to come, according to current owner Aki Shimizu, who reports that the restaurant has plans to unveil more veggie rolls in the coming months.
