Seen Around Town: Chris Rock Rips Monte Carlo, Flo Rida Blows Up Flamingo’s GO Pool

Celebrities frequent our city around the clock. Here are the most notable sightings of the week.

You think Monte Carlo will speed up its rebranding after Chris Rock ripped the hotel on Twitter?

Rock, who brought his Total Blackout tour to Vegas for two shows at Park Theater, complained to his 5.26 million Twitter followers on Saturday that he couldn’t get room service past 2 a.m. The hungry comedian followed up the first tweet with another, calling Monte Carlo “a great hotel if you’ve eaten already.”

If that weren’t bad enough, Rock’s rant more or less served as an invitation for fans to troll Monte Carlo with their own criticisms. Even The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ official Twitter account joined in on the fun.

And just because things can always get worse, Rock’s show was reportedly plagued by audio problems. So, of course, fans took their complaints straight to Twitter.

As of Sunday night, Monte Carlo had no response to Rock or his fans. Meanwhile …

Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee spent the weekend celebrating his son Brandon’s 21st birthday all over the Wynn Las Vegas/Encore complex. The party started Thursday night at Intrigue Nightclub, where the group—which included Brandon’s model girlfriend, Pyper America Smith, and singer Lexy Panterra—partied to the sounds of headliner Diplo.

We don’t know how much sleep everyone got that night, but it couldn’t have been a lot because the gang was spotted at Encore Beach Club the next day. We’re told they did shots while Chuckie performed for the Friday crowd.

And that night, they all hit up XS Nightclub for Kygo’s performance. If you’re gonna do your 21st birthday in Vegas, that’s one way to do it.

Of course, being the son of Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson that was probably small potatoes compared to the shit he’s seen in his young life.

We got FOMO big time after seeing the pics from Flo Rida’s concert at the Flamingo’s GO Pool on Saturday. If anyone there had doubts that Mr. Rida was the life of every party, those were erased the moment they saw him crowd surfing— twice—in a sea of adoring fans.

We’re told Flo passed out roses to ladies in the crowd and invited a few onstage while he performed “Low.” And because it’s Las Vegas, there was a Champagne shower. How could there not be?

Good work, Flo.

By the way, keep your eye out for Flamingo. We’ve been tipped to some big-time acts coming to GO Pool this summer.

In other sightings …

Scott Disick, who is apparently famous but doesn’t even have his own Wikipedia page, enjoyed the kind of Vegas VIP treatment you’d think we’d reserve for doctors who cure diseases or astronauts.

Disick arrived at ARIA’s Liquid Pool Lounge on Saturday to find a “parade” of bikini-clad cocktail waitresses holding signs with his name on them, before taking a seat at a private table near the DJ booth, where WeAreTreo was putting on a show for the crowd.

Also at Liquid on Saturday: Lil Jon. The Jewel Nightclub resident DJ, who is more talented and likely makes a greater contribution to society, stopped by Disick’s table to say hello. That is so wrong: When you’re Lil Jon, people should come to you.

Later that evening, Disick, who is not the Pope, a world leader or even a two-time Jeopardy! returning champion, dined at Stack inside The Mirage and received another warm welcome (and bottle service) at 1 OAK Nightclub.

He probably got room service after 2 a.m., too.
