Seen Around Town: Demi Lovato Makes a Surprise Appearance, Rob Gronkowski Hypes Rehab

Celebrities frequent our city around the clock. Here are the most notable sightings of the week.

If you’re someone who has never seen Game of Thrones, Twitter must be so confusing on Sunday nights.

But we digress, here’s a list of everyone who can get wristband upgrades in Las Vegas without paying extra for them.

With NBA Summer League in town, you’re bound to run into players up and down the Strip. Last Wednesday, Miami Heat stars James Johnson, Wayne Ellington, and Tyler Johnson took in Criss Angel’s MINDFREAK LIVE! show at Luxor Las Vegas. Fortunately that theater has stadium seating, because the trio checks in at 6-foot-9, 6-foot-4 and 6-foot-4, respectively (at least according to Wikipedia, all we know is what’s on the internet).

After the show, the players got a backstage meet-and-greet with Criss Angel, while we were at home, binge-watching The Mindy Project.

World heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua, still riding a wave of good vibes since beating Wladimir Klitschko’s face into the canvas back in April, spent the afternoon at Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Unfortunately few people noticed because they were distracted by Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor talking s*^# about each other’s mothers, or something.

Sidebar: This whole promotional tour can go on for as long as it has to, but we know the ending to this story. So the question is, are you gonna pay $100 to watch Floyd get punched in the shoulders for 12 rounds before winning it on the cards?

It was quite a night for the crowd at Wynn Las Vegas’ XS Nightclub. Not only did they get to witness The Chainsmokers on stage, but then Demi Lovato jumped in with a special guest appearance. The singer stunned fans with an unannounced performance of her new track, “Sorry Not Sorry” and then partied all night long with a group that included Nick Jonas. We’re jealous.

We’re having an incredible time partying with @thechainsmokers and @ddlovato at #XSLasVegas! 🎉

Also in the house: Wynn resident DJ Diplo, who just played Intrigue Nightclub on Thursday.

WWE star Mojo Rawley celebrated his birthday at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Rehab Beach Club with the greatest party guest of all time: Gronk! It’s been way too long since we’ve seen Rob Gronkowski out on the town. If he’s reading this, the invitation to run for mayor still stands, and Gronk, we will print your signs for you.

Meanwhile, Drai’s headliner and 2017 Life Is Beautiful artist Wiz Khalifa crossed the Strip to hang at a VIP cabana at Marquee Dayclub, while DJ Mustard put on a show for the afternoon crowd

Also spotted on Saturday night: former NBA player Robert Horry at The Venetian’s TAO Nightclub.
