Catch NYE ‘Feels’ with Calvin Harris at Omnia Nightclub

Forbes’ ‘Top Earning DJ’ tapped to ring in 2018 in Las Vegas

Just when the energy of summer starts slipping away, along comes Calvin Harris to jumpstart our anticipation for New Year’s Eve on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Hakkasan Group headliner—arguably the biggest star on the hospitality company’s talent roster—is set to headline the December 31 festivities at Omnia Nightclub inside Caesars Palace. This marks three straight New Year’s Eve countdowns with Harris at Omnia, a club he christened during its opening festivities in early 2015.

There’s no reason to break with tradition, as the 33-year-old Scottish DJ has been enjoying success after success, with 2017 possibly his biggest year to date.

Need proof? Behold:

In January, Harris was announced at the top of Hakkasan’s 2017 day and nightlife lineup, and spent the majority of the year bouncing between gigs at the eponymous MGM Grand nightclub, Wet Republic, and Omnia, all the while maintaining a tour schedule that takes him from London to the U.S., Japan, and everywhere in between.

In June he dropped his fifth studio album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, featuring an all-star lineup of collaborations—everyone from Snoop Dogg to Nicki Minaj, Frank Ocean, Travis Scott and Future.

The album peaked at No. 2 in the U.S. and U.K., and produced four singles, including the ridiculously successful “Feels” (featuring Pharrell, Katy Perry, and Big Sean), which had us walking around all summer singing the chorus incorrectly. It’s not “Don’t be afraid to catch fish.”

In August, Forbes ranked Harris the world’s highest paid DJ for the fifth straight year. Harris’ $48.5 million in earnings were as much as rival Las Vegas headliners Marshmello and The Chainsmokers combined, according to the rankings.

He even won the 2017 Teen Choice Award for Choice Electronic/Dance Artist, and those are the awards that really matter.

So life’s been good for Calvin Harris, and it’s not hard to imagine plenty of people lining up at Omnia hoping to have some of those good vibes rub off before 2018 arrives.

Tickets to the Omnia Nightclub New Year’s Eve celebration start at $125 for general admission, with VIP Bar Card packages available that will get into a dedicated VIP line and a $100 card to spend inside the club. Every ticket purchase also includes a copy of Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, which you can redeem via email.
