New for 2017, snag a golden ticket to attend Cocktail School

With all the excitement surrounding the music at the fifth annual Life Is Beautiful, it would be easy to overlook some of the edible and drinkable options at the three-day festival that turns Downtown Las Vegas into one giant block party. You won’t find it on the Life Is Beautiful website or app, but here’s a little secret item you’ll definitely want to slip into your schedule: Cocktail School!

Twice a day, every day during the festival, beverage luminaries will teach you about a different spirit, liqueur or cocktail, provide samples and demonstrate the steps for at-home imbibing. There are just 50 seats available for each 30-minute session held at The Writer’s Block on Fremont Street. Ready to score yours? Be on the lookout for staffers handing out Willy Wonka-style golden tickets one hour before the seminar start time. Here’s the complete lineup:
