Tony Bennett’s limited November engagement (or mini residency, if you prefer) at Wynn Las Vegas comes with a little something extra: a chance to make a night of it with dinner-and-show packages at three of the resort’s restaurants and the buffet.
While we all wish the 91-year-old crooner could stand tableside and serenade us, at least we’ll have the opportunity to raise a glass and toast his unbelievable longevity before heading into Encore Theater to see Bennett’s The Best Is Yet to Come show.
The deal for the three-course dinner and a ticket to see Bennett starts at $140 per person.
So what sounds good?
Allegro’s dinner package—courtesy of Vegas Seven Restaurant Award-winning executive chef Enzo Febbraro—begins with a prosecco cocktail and features four entrées: your choice of Baked Lasagna Napoletana, Pappardelle Wild Boar Ragu, Grilled Salmon or Veal Saltimbocca.
We’ve been fans of Jardin and chef Joseph Zanelli since the restaurant’s opening in 2016, when it took over the space previously occupied by Botero steakhouse. For fans of Tony Bennett, Jardin is offering to pair your dinner with a wine selection and a choice of Jidori Chicken Breast, Organic Salmon or Surf & Turf entrées. Dessert options are Rustic Apple Crostata or Butterscotch Maple-Bourbon Pudding.
At Lakeside, you can choose from four entrées: Roasted Hawaiian Dayboat Fish, Lobster Risotto, Filet Mignon or Organic Jidori Chicken Breast. The Lakeside package also comes with a signature cocktail and a choice of one of the restaurant’s classic desserts.
You can reserve a seat at Wynn’s Allegro, Jardin or Lakeside by calling (702) 770-7118 and mentioning “Dinner Package.” Think of it as your own secret code words.
If you choose the “Buffet and Bennett” option, you can have your fill of more than 120 dishes, assuming you have time to sample them all before the concert begins.
The buffet dinner and show package starts at $100 per person, and you can reserve your spot by calling (702) 770-7118 and mentioning “Buffet Package.”
Bennett is performing at Encore Theater November 1, 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11. Showtime is at 8 p.m.
