It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. And as Las Vegas gears up for the holidays, two of the city’s top Chinese eateries will celebrate with their annual dim sum brunches.
From Christmas Day through January 2, Jasmine in Bellagio will proffer a lavish buffet to supplement an equally awesome assortment of dim sum. Think fishball and shrimp noodle soup, century egg and pork congee, jellyfish and shredded pickled cabbage, roasted duck and braised oxtail alongside Cantonese barbecue pork buns, black truffle baked scallops, abalone dumplings and cheese tarts. While this is just a small sample of what’s on offer, the Cantonese restaurant also will have sushi, salad, shellfish and carving stations, and one of the most insane dessert rooms you’ve ever seen.
Jasmine’s perch at the center of Lake Bellagio is quite special, but do not overlook how stunning Wing Lei looks when bathed in sunshine. From Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day, the Michelin-starred eatery will present its own extraordinary carving, shellfish and sushi stations. What’s more, we hear the sushi will be prepped by chefs from Mizumi, Wynn’s Japanese restaurant. As for the dim sum, think butler service with lobster shumai, fried crab rolls, lotus chicken and the like. And definitely expect an impressive cherry display.
Both brunches are priced at $68.88. While details are still being firmed up, the only other opportunity to enjoy these exclusive meals will be during the Lunar New Year.
