During a private party for 3,000 invited guests, Caesars Palace celebrated the New Year with two glitzy performances. Both America’s Got Talent winner Darci Lynne Farmer, a 13-year-old Oklahoman ventriloquist, and 20-time Grammy nominee Fergie entertained and interacted with the crowd inside a Palace Tower ballroom. And from the crowd’s response during the Fire and Ice-themed soiree, it’s clear that both acts could certainly sustain a local residency.
But while Farmer and The Duchess may not have deals inked yet, two high-powered chefs will be expanding their Las Vegas footprints within the resort sooner than expected. Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner toasted the room and excitedly announced that Gordon Ramsay’s fifth Las Vegas outpost, Hell’s Kitchen, will soft open within the week in the former Strip-front Serendipity 3 space. He also noted that Giada De Laurentiis’ fast-casual restaurant, Pronto “will open 30 days after Hell’s Kitchen” in the former Francois Payard room across from Rao’s. It’s certainly shaping up to be a busy year for Caesars.
