Dear Miss Daisy,

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for three months and I’m not sure he’s serious about us. Sure, we spend most weekends together because our work schedules don’t match up during the week, but I’m not certain it’s moving forward. For example, last month for my birthday, he took me to dinner but there was no gift. It’s really hard to tell what he’s feeling, so I think I need to make him jealous. I want to send flowers to myself to see if I get some sort of reaction. What do you think would work?

Sincerely,
Confused

Dear Confused,

I see you are channeling Cher from Clueless, who says to send yourself flowers to show a boy how desired you are. I recommend our Home Run arrangement, which includes six dozen long-stem roses. It’s classic and a surefire way to strike a chord in your evasive man. If it doesn’t work, like Cher’s quest for Christian, your boyfriend may actually prefer a boyfriend. Or he’s just not that into you.

Dear Miss Daisy,

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for more than a year, but it’s been super-tough because while he’s open to all of his friends, his family doesn’t know about me. They are Republicans and voted for Trump, for goodness sakes! He finally got the courage to come out to them, and let’s just say it didn’t go over very well. He’s so sad, so I want to send him something special this Valentine’s Day to show him he is truly loved. Can you recommend the perfect flowers for my perfect guy?

Sincerely,
Stand by My Man

Dear Miss Daisy,

I just found out my girlfriend has been sleeping with her boss, willingly. What can I send to the office to let him know he’s an asshole and to let her know she’s dumped?

Sincerely,
Moving On
