The RealReal is like a consignment chess game. You scroll through the various clothing pieces searching for that amazing deal, such as a Tom Ford shift dress in “Pristine” condition, or because you are an avid collector and you spot the Hermès 2016 Special Order Birkin in Mimosa Matte Porosus Crocodile and it’s only $54,000. Checkmate!
Las Vegas locals can now put their phones down as The RealReal recently opened a pop-up retail location in the Forum Shops at Caesars. The RealReal is the leader in authenticated luxury consignment—they inspect every item to ensure that what they sell is 100 percent real.
The 6,000-square-foot location features one-of-a-kind luxury items including women’s, men’s, fine jewelry, watches, home furnishings, decor and art. The RealReal shopping addicts will be able to find the brands they covet most, such as Chanel, Hermès, Cartier, Rolex, Gucci and more. Clients can also drop items to be consigned.
“We have a strong consigner base in Las Vegas,” says Natalie Shalk, director of public relations and corporate communications for The RealReal. “The Forum Shops was the perfect location for the pop-up, given that it’s one of the top tourist destinations for luxury shopping.”
This is the third pop-up shop for the website. The first was in New York City in 2016, and it was so successful that it motivated the company to open a permanent location in SoHo this past November. The brand also recently wrapped up a pop-up store in San Francisco.
“The main difference between Las Vegas and our New York store is the product selection,” Shalk says. “Both offer all of our categories, but we take into account seasonality and trends in different regions. We are a data-driven [retailer], so we closely monitor customer demands in different locations.”
The Las Vegas location is open through April 15. But if you can’t make it during that time, fear not, the contents of the store will also be featured online.
