Where to Score 4/20 Deals and Meals

A guide to discounts on cannabis-related products and munchies for a flawless celebration

The forecast this Friday is hazy with a chance of clouds. 4/20 is upon us, and it’s the first time this storied stoner holiday is legal for recreational purposes in Las Vegas. Grab your eye drops, call your rideshare and enjoy this much anticipated celebration of all things cannabis.

Dank deals for the frugal stoner

No longer do we have to pick up $10-a-G schwag in the parking lot of a Home Depot from some white dude with dreads named J-Weezy. Dispensaries across the Valley are capitalizing on this celebration of cannabis culture, so take advantage of these once-a-year promotions.

Through Thursday, April 19, The+Source will sell 500mg disposable pens for $20 a piece and half-ounces of Pineapple Express for $100, with 20 percent off all District edible products, among other deals. During the big day, .7 gram pre-rolls will be on sale for $4.20 and 20 percent will be knocked off of CannaPunch products.

Offers available at both Las Vegas locations: 2550 S. Rainbow Blvd. and 9480 S. Eastern Blvd.

Reef Dispensaries

On April 20, the first 75 people in line at the off-Strip location will get a free hat labeled “4:20”. Other specials include, but are not limited to: buy one get one free on Korova products, select CBD vape pens at $25 each and buy one get one 50 percent off Cannavative gummies.

3400 Western Ave. and 1366 W. Cheyenne Ave.

ShowGrow Las Vegas

Bundle up with one of five $100 packages (valued at $200-$300) that ShowGrow will offer this Friday. Stay smoking with the Flower Pack, which includes 10 grams, one infused preroll and four regular prerolls. Medicate with the CBD Pack, which features tincture, two disposable pens, gummies, a bath bomb and one gram of CBD concentrate. Hungry? Consume your cannabis with the Edible Pack comprised of three cookies, one chocolate bar, a gummy and tincture. Finally, wind down with the Wax Pack featuring a half-gram of “sauce,” a half-gram of rosin and a half-gram of shatter.

4850 S. Fort Apache Rd.

Essence Cannabis Dispensary

Enjoy a safe 4/20 by taking advantage of a rideshare discount provided by Essence Cannabis Dispensaries. Use the code “CANNABISLV” and knock $4.20 off of two Lyft rides. Deals on flower and edibles, food trucks and the chance to win free T-shirts will be offered at all three Essence dispensaries.

Henderson location: 4300 E Sunset Rd, Suite A3 Henderson. The Strip location: 2307 S. Las Vegas Blvd. West side location: 5765 W. Tropicana Ave.

For the munchies

If you’ve ever resorted to eating an entire box of Fig Newtons because you cleared out the pantry in your last cannabis-induced stupor, then you’ll understand the necessity of having good munchies on deck. When you’re struck with an insatiable voracity this Friday, check out the following locations for discounts on food.

Cheba Hut by Cierra Pedro

The menu at SkinnyFats encompasses a broad variety of foods with dining options split into two categories: happy and healthy. On Friday, SkinnyFats’ is offering a free cookie to customers to nosh on. The restaurant also has new additions to its secret 420 Menu, which features items such as a grilled cheese sandwich and the just-added CHILLote—their take on Mexican street corn—all priced at $4.20. Speaking from experience, go for the Buff Chix. They take crispy chicken strips, coat them in buffalo sauce, and serve them over a bed of warm truffle fries. Guess which side of the menu that’s on.

SkinnyFats has four locations in Las Vegas: 2010 Festival Plaza Dr., 6261 Dean Martin Dr., 8680 W. Warm Springs Rd. and 6475 N. Decatur Blvd.

Cheba Hut

You’ll feel right at home walking into Cheba Hut on 4/20. Already featuring a variety of cannabis-inspired items on their menu, Cheba Hut will celebrate the holiday by selling their sandwiches for $4.20. Go with your friends and get some Dank sandwiches—a pizza-themed sub that’s topped with marinara sauce and multiple Italian meats. Go for the food, stay for the inevitable conversation someone tries to have with you about space.
