Just because you ask doesn’t mean that you shall receive. This is what Sovage Denim learned when its supposedly star-studded event fell flat.
The clothing company had PR agency P3E send out a press release on Feb. 11 promising that a respectable collection of celebs would attend its MAGIC convention week party at Blush on Feb. 16. The media alert assured that Audrina Patridge of The Hills, AnnaLynne McCord and Ryan Eggold of 90210 “and MANY MORE!” would walk the red carpet starting at 11 p.m.—but none of the so-called talent showed (unless you count McCord’s sister).
Patridge threw a little salt in Sovage’s wound that night—though it’s hard to know if the dis was intentional. She was spotted (with her on-again BF, musician Ryan Cabrera) at a different MAGIC party on Feb. 16—for Sovage competitor AG Jeans. Patridge was photographed as she and Cabrera watched the Foo Fighters perform at the bigger, better party at Rain and was seen in the VIP at Moon after the show, too.
