Performers from the sexiest shows on the Las Vegas Strip will be taking it off for charity at midnight April 24 in the second annual Broadway Bares: Las Vegas ($20-$50, Chi Showroom at Planet Hollywood, BroadwayBares.com).
Since its 1992 inception, the naughty fundraising concept, created by Tony Award-winning director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell, has brought together talent from Broadway shows for a racy late-night performance benefiting AIDS victims.
This recipe proved successful in New York City (to date the event has raised $195 million) and expanded its reach westward last year to Las Vegas. This year, Broadway Bares returns to the Chi Showroom, home to Peepshow, for a performance featuring entertainers from that show, as well as Le Reve, The Lion King and Jersey Boys.
Tickets are tax deductible, and all proceeds go directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, one of the nation’s leading nonprofit AIDS fundraising organizations.
