Downtown’s music and culinary festival, which debuted last year, gets the most attention for its ambitious A-list lineup (this year’s headliners include Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Outkast and Lionel Richie). But Life Is Beautiful has also made it a priority to include local acts, helping Vegas faves get some big-time exposure. Last year, 19 local artists performed on small side stages. This year, the Vegas-bred number has been winnowed to nine, with the stated intention of “giving them the opportunity to perform on the big stage.” We can’t wait to catch Vegas standouts Moksha, Ekoh, Sabriel, Rusty Maples and American Cream.
